  • we offer one tasting menu nightly:

    the kiln tasting menu | 18 - 20 servings | 2 to 2.5 hours | $285*

    beverage pairing | $165*

    reserve pairing | $350*

    spirit-free pairing | $135*

    * all purchases will include an additional 15% service charge

    * the length of the experience can vary, depending on your dining pace. if you have time constraints, please call or text us to discuss

  • all pricing at Kiln will have the addition of a 15% service charge, which is applied toward the restaurant’s costs in an effort to ensure the highest possible quality of service and experience when you join us and it allows us to compensate our team members more evenly.

    additional gratuity is optional, but welcome. this gratuity is pooled and equitably shared among our service and kitchen teams.

  • due to our unique dining experience and the complexity of the menu, we are unable to accommodate requests to modify or substitute any of our dishes for food allergies, preferences and dietary needs.

    kindly note that the menu is protein-driven and features varying combinations of seafood, poultry and red meat. additionally, ingredients like dairy, gluten, alliums and sugar are used throughout most of the courses on the tasting menu.

  • our availability is released at 12:00pm (noon), on the 1st of each month for the following month: august 1st for all of september, september 1st for all of october, october 1st for all of november, etc.

    reservations for 1 to 6 guests are bookable through our Tock page.

    reservations for 7 to 12 guests are welcome to book for the full tasting menu experience. please email or text us to arrange a table for a group of 7 to 12 guests.

    reservations for 13+ guests would require reserving the restaurant for exclusive use, with a minimum of 6 weeks’ notice. please email or text us for any private party / exclusive use inquiries.

    all reservations are booked and pre-paid through our Tock page.

    walk-in availability is limited, but welcome when possible. to check during dinner service hours, please text us.

  • please allow ample time to enjoy the experience you have booked and keep in mind that the dining experience starts promptly at your reservation time.

    if you are running behind schedule on the day of your reservation, please contact us so we may plan accordingly and extend a grace period of up to 30 minutes.

    while we recognize that unforeseen events occur, the nature of our dining experience means that seating cannot be guaranteed beyond this window.

    kindly keep in mind that refunds and reschedules are not offered if we are unable to seat you after our 30 minute grace period.

    during service, we can be reached by text at +1 (415) 982-9722. kindly keep in mind that we are a small team and will prioritize the guests we have in-house during service. that said, we will respond as soon as we see your message.

  • if you would like to cancel, change or reschedule your reservation, please do so with at least one week’s notice (7 days), and we will be able to accommodate the request with credit for a future visit or a full refund.

    bookings at kiln become final, non-refundable, and cannot be modified, rescheduled or cancelled within one week (7 days) of the reservation*. however, they are always transferrable and our team will gladly offer assistance to help rebook the seats.

    because we contact all guests directly before they dine with us, we request that all bookings are formally transferred through our site. your confirmed bookings can be viewed and transferred from your Tock profile.

    *reservations for large groups (7 to 12 guests) and private events are subject to their own cancellation and reschedule policy

  • we will try our best to accommodate your new party size if there is an available, appropriately sized table.

    a refund will not be possible in the event we are unable to offer an appropriately sized table for decreased party sizes.

  • our team is always happy to open special bottles from your cellar.

    the corkage policy is $125 per 750mL bottle (standard size), up to two bottles. magnums are $250 per bottle, limit one. corkage for half bottles will be politely declined.

    we respectfully ask that your selection does not include a wine is already represented on our wine list.

    we encourage you to inquire about a particular selection by text or email.

  • we encourage you to dress comfortably and there is no strict dress code. that said, most of our guests naturally dress in casual elegant attire and will tend to dress up for their own occasions.

  • due to the length of the dining experience and the tranquil ambiance of our dining room, young guests are welcome to join us for dinner provided that they participate in the full tasting menu and enjoy the good company of their guests.

  • gift cards cannot be redeemed directly through Tock. in order to redeem your gift, please text or email us and one of our team members will happily create the reservation with you.
